Several years ago, I approched Fairuza Balk and her store manager (at the time) with the offer to create a piece of artwork for her, possibly marketing it into her fan club. After I had completed the artwork and printing, it was decided to abandon the project, leaving me with the overstock to distribute. I wish that we could have come together on an agreement and I hold out that someday we can collaborate on a new piece, because I think that Fairuza's personality, image and lifestyle reflect the style of my work. But either way, I was very happy for the opportunity to create a piece with her as the subject.
