This is the first in a 3-part set, that comes individually signed, numbered consecutively, and with certificate. "Affinity" placed First in the Third Annual International Internet Art Competition in Japan. There were 408 entries, from 34 countries around the world. It was also featured in the Renaissance 2K traveling exhibition, and was seen in larger cities such as Atlanta, Chicago and New York all through the year 2000. This piece was featured in Design News Weekly, January 2000 edition (Korean publication) as winner of the IIAC. This is truly one of my favorite pieces, as it has done well abroad and opened so many doors. I still think that the simplistic composition is exceptional and I captured that vintage old photo look that I thought would work well with the theme.
